Oh hi again! Don’t mind me, just finishing wrapping up a gift for a friend. I love gift wrapping especially when all of my supplies are in one organized spot in my Bar Stool Caddy DIY I made! Come take a closer look!
It’s really simple and rewarding to create this Bar Stool Caddy DIY. I think wrapping paper messes are one of the most messes common that everyone has. I mean it’s hard to organize the assortment of long paper tubes, scissors, tape, bows, etc. They just don’t fit nicely into one drawer, so that’s why this Bar Stool Caddy DIY comes in handy!
The steps are easy follow or watch my video if you’d like! It was fun creating this upcycle for HSN At Home Show- I love having the freedom to make things that I think will resonate well with all of us! Let me know if you like it!
What you need are just a few materials…
First star by drilling a hole in the bottom of the bar stool seat and place the 3-wheel dolly caster on it. Don’t forget to find the center!
Then give it a fresh coat of paint. You don’t have to paint the bottom as no one will really see it. I chose not to as the dolly gives it height off the ground and the paint can fade underneath just enough.
Then add shower curtain hooks from the bars, so you can hang tools like scissors, tape and other small containers that hold random items. Shower curtain hooks are super cute, so find some that match your decor. Some with seashells or gold ones would be nice too!
Finally, place wrapping paper in the center and you’re done! You could also store birthday, holiday or everyday wrapping paper in it specifically. Or all combined to keep it in one place!
If you think this is Bar Stool Caddy DIY is cute and doable, tell your best friend! Maybe you can make one together. If you would like, follow me on Instagram for daily posts, ideas and inspiration! @ahostofthings and check out #ahostofthingsdiy and #ahostofthingshome for my personal pics!
Happy wrapping ya’ll!
